3. This process requires the confirmation of the user to remove the package and its related
components as in Figure 3.351. Click the OK button.

4. The eG manager and agent share some common files if they exist on the same machine. In this
case, when the user tries to uninstall the manager or the agent, the following message will appear
(see Figure 3.352) corresponding to the different files that are being shared. If the user wants to
proceed with the process of uninstalling the manager, he/she needs to select the “Don’t display
this message again” option to avoid repeated display of the same message corresponding to the
common files being shared. Then, click the Yes button.

3.26 Uninstalling an eG Agent
1. It is essential to stop the agent before uninstalling it. To stop it, first choose the eG Monitoring
Suite option of the Windows Programs menu. Next, choose eG Agent. Finally, select Stop Agent
from the options available.
