You are strongly advised to manually remove the WebTransFilter on an IIS web server after
uninstalling the eG agent monitoring that server. This is because, the IIS web server, when up and
running, will not permit the eG agent uninstall procedure to automatically remove the WebTransFilter.
To manually remove the WebTransFilter, do the following:
1. Stop the IIS web server.
2. Select the Internet Services Manager option (in Windows 2003, this will be the Internet Information
Services (IIS) Manager option) from the Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools menu of the IIS
web server.

3. From the window that appears, select the IIS web server’s host from the left pane, right-click on
it and choose the Properties option (see Figure 3.357).
