map ip precedence (Global Configuration)<br />

PRIORITY COMMANDS<br />

Use this command to enable IP precedence mapping (i.e., IP Type of<br />

Service). Use the no form to disable IP precedence mapping.<br />

Syntax<br />

map ip precedence<br />

no map ip precedence<br />

Command Usage<br />

• The precedence for priority mapping is IP Precedence or IP DSCP, and<br />

default switchport priority.<br />

• IP Precedence and IP DSCP cannot both be enabled. Enabling one of<br />

these priority types will automatically disable the other type.<br />

Example<br />

The following example shows how to enable IP precedence mapping<br />

globally:<br />

Console(config)#map ip precedence<br />

Console(config)#<br />

map ip precedence (Interface Configuration)<br />

Use this command to set IP precedence priority (i.e., IP Type of Service<br />

priority). Use the no form to restore the default table.<br />

Syntax<br />

map ip precedence ip-precedence-value cos cos-value<br />

no map ip precedence<br />

• precedence-value - 3-bit precedence value. (Range: 0-7)<br />
