Step Description AS-Interface Configuration 3 In the Scan Devices window, select an available slave address under the list box. The addresses already used by another slave are noted as used under the list box. NOTE: Address 0 is not proposed in the drop-down list because a slave should not be changed to an address of 0 normally (0 being used for fast device replacement). However, it is possible to do so <strong>manual</strong>ly by writing the value 0 in the address field. If Automatic addressing is enabled, the slave set to 0 address will be immediately reassigned to another address. 4 The new address is displayed in blue until you click on the Set Address button to confirm.
