ileritability estimates for <str<strong>on</strong>g>plant</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>height</str<strong>on</strong>g>, kernel weight,<br />

test weight, <strong>and</strong> percent pLumpness were c<strong>on</strong>sistent across<br />

populati<strong>on</strong>s since these parameters can be measured accurately<br />

<strong>and</strong> deviatí<strong>on</strong>s between years or Ìocati<strong>on</strong>s were devi_ati<strong>on</strong>s<br />

in nagnitude rather than ranking.<br />
