Systems that use breeders (i.e., fast transmuters) to produce 233U for LWRs or<br />

advanced converters operating on denatured 233U fuel have a capability comparable<br />

to systems employing <strong>the</strong> classical Pu/U breeder cycle to satisfy <strong>the</strong> assumed<br />

demand through 2050 with <strong>the</strong> U308 resource base assumed in this study.<br />
