5 • Normal and Custom Presets
Normal Preset
The Normal preset as shipped from the factory is set for "Seal Only"
and cannot be used to print postage on a mail piece (see screen
below).

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind the following for the Normal Preset:
• To see the current values for the Normal Preset, press Normal
Preset.
• The machine reverts to the Normal Preset values:
- when the machine is first turned on
- when the machine “wakes up” after sleep mode
• You cannot delete the Normal Preset.
• You cannot modify the name of the Normal Preset.
• You cannot assign an account to the Normal Preset (if you have
enabled the accounting feature).
• On systems without the optional scale:
You cannot change the factory setting of "Seal Only" for the
Normal Preset.
• On systems with the optional scale:
- You can change the Normal Preset (see next page for
directions), but you can not include a weight or postage in your
Normal Preset. Consequently, you will still need to weigh the mail
piece to establish the proper postage amount using the Normal
Preset.
- If you have changed the Normal Preset and remove the scale
for any reason, the system reverts to the factory setting of "Seal
Only" for the Normal Preset. When you replace the scale, you
can then re-program the Normal Preset.
