Setting Postage Values (Funds Warnings)
You can specify values for the system to display a warning when
your postage funds drop below a certain level or if you try to key in
manually too much postage for a piece of mail.
Setting the High Value Warning
IMPORTANT: Because of changes in the software, this feature is
no longer operational, even if a value is shown on the setup screen.
Postage values are now derived from the internal rating feature.
Consequently, the high value warning prompt will not be triggered
even through a specific dollar value threshold is setup in this feature
when running mail.
You can have the system warn you when you manually key in a
post age val ue that is higher than a maximum amount that you
specify. This fea ture pre vents you from ac ci den tal ly print ing a
post age val ue that's more than you need.
1. Press Options.
2. Press Page Down.
3. Select "Postage Values".
4. Select "High postage amount".

5. Key in the value you want, including the digits to the right of the
decimal point if you want a fractional value like .75 or $1.50.
Select "OK".
6. Press Clear (back arrow key) to return to Options menu.
Setting the Low Funds Warning
You can set up the system so that when the postage remaining
reach es a certain level, the system will remind you to add postage.
1. Press Options.
2. Press Page Down.
3. Select "Postage Values".
4. Select "Low funds amount".
5. Key in the amount you want (in whole dollars only). Select "OK".
6. Press Clear (back arrow key) to return to Options menu.
