7 • System Options Correct Drift Sometimes, the time on the machine may need to be corrected due to internal drift or the activation of Daylight Saving Time. 1. Press Options. 2. Select "Time and Timeouts". 3. Press Page Down. 4. Select "Correct Drift". 5. You have your choice of adding or subtracting minutes from the current time displayed. ADJUST THE TIME Currently: 5:52 PM ◄Add 1-120 min ◄Subtract 1-120 min Page Up Page Down A. To add minutes: • Select "Add 1-120 min" to add minutes. • Key in the number of minutes you need to add and select "Continue". B. To subtract minutes: • Select "Add 1-120 min" to subtract minutes. • Key in the number of minutes you need to subtract and select "Continue". 6. The display returns to Time & Timeouts menu. 7. Press Clear (back arrow key) to return to Options menu. Setting Daylight Sav ings Time 1. Press Options. 2. Select "Time and Timeouts". 3. Press Page Down. 4. Select "Daylight Saving Time". The display shows the cur rent set ting. 5. Select "Enable" to use Daylight Saving Time, or select "Disable" if you don't Daylight Saving Time. You return to Time & Timeouts menu. 6. SV61195 Rev. B 7 • System Options Setting Postage Display You can set the amount of time (in seconds) that the postage indicia stays displaying before the system prompts "Place on item on scale". 1. Press Options. 2. Select "Time and Timeouts". 3. Press Page Down. 4. Select "Postage Display".The current setting is displayed. 5. Key in a new number of seconds and select "OK". If you don't want to change the current setting, just select "OK". Either way, you return to the Time & Timeouts menu. 6. Press Clear (back arrow key) to return to Options menu. 7-9
