When printing on plain paper 16 to 28 lb (60<br />

to 105 g/m2 ) or laser transparencies use the<br />

paper tray.<br />

For printing on other types of media use the<br />

MP tray (Multi-purpose tray).<br />

a Unfold the output paper tray support<br />

flap.<br />

b Pull the paper tray completely out of the<br />

machine.<br />

c While pressing the blue paper-guide<br />

release lever (1), slide the paper guides<br />

to fit the paper size. Make sure that the<br />

guides are firmly in the slots.<br />

For legal size paper, press the lever (2)<br />

located at the back of the tray and pull<br />

out the back of the paper tray. Move the<br />

tray lock button (3) to the lock position.<br />

Loading documents and paper<br />

d Fan the stack of paper well to avoid<br />

paper feeding problems.<br />

e Insert the paper into the paper tray with<br />

the top edge of the paper first and the<br />

print side down.<br />

Make sure that the paper is flat in the<br />

tray and below the maximum paper<br />

mark (1).<br />

f Push the paper tray firmly back into the<br />

machine.<br />
