to the chemistry <strong>of</strong> the principal aliphatic<br />

and aromatic compounds <strong>of</strong> carbon and their<br />

Industrial Chemistry<br />

A review <strong>of</strong> chemical operations and unit or<br />

batch processes common to industry. Econometric<br />

analysis involving supply-demand, productivity,<br />

commodity prices and costing is an important<br />

area covered, as are measures <strong>of</strong> productivity<br />

and patent activity. Three hours lecture.<br />

CHEM 330 2 cr.<br />

Organic Chemistry III<br />

(Prerequisites: CHEM 232-233) A continuation<br />

<strong>of</strong> Chemistry 232-233, emphasizing the study <strong>of</strong><br />

the major types <strong>of</strong> organic mechanisms. Two<br />

hours lecture.
