2 Secondary Education/English majors will complete a second major in English. English majors at <strong>The</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Scranton</strong> are<br />

required to take at least four courses in British literature and at least two in American literature. <strong>The</strong>se appear above as “Area<br />

Requirements”; for further details, students should see page 129 and/or consult their English Department advisors.<br />

3 Students who have not already done so must complete the English Department’s <strong>The</strong>ory Intensive Requirement.<br />
