• Implementers should have a good knowledge of relevant activities<br />

being carried out by other organizations <strong>and</strong> of how <strong>to</strong> incorporate<br />

gender in<strong>to</strong> operations.<br />

• The focus of a project may not be gender; however, gender issues can<br />

be built in<strong>to</strong> the project by carefully studying the project <strong>and</strong> identifying<br />

linkages.<br />
