• The three most frequently written <strong>in</strong> answer options for 2005 have been coded <strong>and</strong><br />

added <strong>to</strong> the table.<br />

• Central Information Technology <strong>support</strong> is cited by 81% <strong>of</strong> respondents (79% FE,<br />

86% HE), followed by dedicated VLE <strong>support</strong> with 29% (32% FE, 22% HE).<br />

• The picture for 2005 <strong>and</strong> 2003 is broadly similar, apart from the <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>in</strong> HE<br />

college respondents mention<strong>in</strong>g LTSU <strong>support</strong> (33%, up from 8% but based on low<br />

numbers) <strong>and</strong> dedicated VLE <strong>support</strong>, mentioned by FE respondents (32%, up from<br />
