<strong>in</strong>ternal onl<strong>in</strong>e resources, both (FE 79%; HE 74%), similar <strong>to</strong> 2003.<br />

• 52% <strong>of</strong> respondents <strong>in</strong>dicate the function <strong>of</strong> a personalised s<strong>in</strong>gle po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>of</strong> access <strong>to</strong><br />

external onl<strong>in</strong>e resources, both (FE 60%, up from 46%; HE 33%, down from 38%).<br />

• Access <strong>to</strong> local <strong>and</strong> remote '<strong>in</strong>formation resources’ (66%) <strong>and</strong> <strong>to</strong> collaborative <strong>to</strong>ols<br />

(59%) are also frequently cited functions.<br />

• Transaction based services are less common, but on the up (35%, up from 24%).<br />
