Enterprise fixed services provided by
Maxis include:
Voice Services – Our wide range
of fixed voice service for businesses
includes single or multi-line business
telephone and voice trunk services
for larger businesses and Hosted
Voice Over Internet Protocol for local
domestic long-distance and international
calls. Customers can choose from a
comprehensive selection of voice plans.
Maxis also offers toll-free number service
to business for local (1300), national
(1800) and international ITFS/UIFN
applications. A comprehensive set of call
management services can be included to
enhance Maxis fixed voice service.
Data Services – Basic data services
such as Domestic Private Leased Circuit,
International Private Lease Circuit,
Metro Ethernet and VSAT are offered
to corporate customers for their pointto-point
and/or point-to-multipoint
connectivity needs. Maxis provides the
most comprehensive range of VSAT
solutions in Malaysia.
Broadband Services – Maxis offers
businesses a number of ways to access
the internet ranging from dedicated
leased lines, ADSL, fibre and satellite
technologies.
Data Centre and Managed Services
– The Maxis Data Centre allows
customers to deploy IT infrastructure
based on their network requirements
and budgets. Services include space in a
controlled environment, regulated power
supply, dedicated and shared network
connections, state-of-the-art security,
fire detection and suppression and much
more. In addition to its many leadingedge
features, the Maxis Data Centre also
offers a suite of managed service options
such as managed hosting, managed
security service and managed unified
communication.
Cloud Computing Services – Maxis
Cloud provides an on-demand, realtime,
fully-managed cloud computing
service to both SMEs and enterprises.
With Maxis Cloud, both large and small
businesses can implement a flexible
secure IT infrastructure that can grow
with their business while easily meeting
their peak demand needs at much lower
costs. Businesses can connect their offices
to Maxis Cloud via many of the access
technologies offered, including our Maxis
Business Fibre Internet with download
speeds up to 32 Mbps. Through our
collaboration with Telekom Malaysia,
Maxis Cloud is also available in all HSBB
coverage areas.
INTERNATIONAL GATEWAY
SERVICES
Maxis International offers international
communications services mainly to
international telecommunications
carriers and domestic wholesale
companies for termination of traffic
into and out of Malaysia and for
the Company’s own outbound
international traffic. All IDD traffic
from the Company’s mobile and fixed
line operations passes through Maxis
International’s gateway. Over the course
of the past year, the portion of the
business which profits from arbitrage in
rates has been scaled down by focusing
only on the most profitable routes
and the Company’s own outbound
international traffic. Maxis International
currently has bilateral connections
with 67 carriers in 31 countries. It has
invested in a number of submarine cable
systems to carry its international voice
and data traffic.
