normalise homo/bi/transexuality? Is it overtly homo/bi/transphobic in
places? Sex Ed for example?
14.Given that young people are often unaware of their own sexuality
and/or gender identity during their school years, why do you think
they are bullied on those grounds?
Prompts: Visible signs? Behaviours perceived as ‘gay’? Do
you think this type of singling out can affect how a young
person thinks about their sexual and/or gender identity?
15.In your experience what do you feel are the short and long-term
effects of Homo/bi/transphobic bullying and
heteronormative/heterosexist cultures of schools on:
a. LGBT or LGBT perceived young people
b. LGBT or LGBT perceived teachers
