7. If a target can be identified, be aggressive and return fire.<br />

8. Be prepared to mount the vehicle under fire on order to break contact.<br />

Per<strong>for</strong>mance Measures GO NO GO<br />

1. Unless dismounting under emergency conditions (under<br />

fire, vehicle burning, and such), conducted a 5/25/200 meter —— ——<br />

2. Exited the vehicle in accordance with established crew —— ——<br />

3. Exited the vehicle on the non-contact side. —— ——<br />

b. Avoided vehicle fuel tanks, batteries, stored<br />

ammunition, hazardous cargo, and such.<br />

c. Maintained a low profile (prone or kneeling<br />

position).<br />

d. Scanned <strong>for</strong> IEDs under and around the vehicle<br />

using the 5/25/200 meter scan technique.<br />

7. Returned fire with aggression when a target could be<br />

identified.<br />
