8.2.16. 3-way Valve (“A” Series)<br />
1. Turn off the gas supply.<br />
2. Turn off the 120V power supply.<br />
3. Turn off the water supply. Drain all water<br />
from the appliance.<br />
4. Loosen the PCB 2 screw from bottom base.<br />
5. Pull out the PCB. (refer to 8.2.1 PCB)<br />
6. Pull out the pump.<br />
(refer to 8.2.16 Circulation Pump)<br />
8. Remove the pipe from 3-way valve.<br />
9. Loosen the 3-way valve 3 screw from<br />
bottom base.<br />

7. Remove the stainless clip. (fastener “D”)<br />
10. Pull out the 3-way valve.<br />
11. Replace with new 3-way valve secured it.<br />
12. Tighten the 3-way valve 3 screws from<br />
bottom base.<br />
13. Replace the circulation pipe into the 3-way<br />
valve.<br />
14. Replace the stainless clip. (fastener “D”)<br />
14. Replace the pump.<br />
15. Replace the PCB. (refer to 8.2.1 PCB)<br />
16. Install front panel using 4(four) screws.<br />
17. Turn on water supply, power supply, and<br />
gas supply.<br />
18. Open a hot water tap and ensure there are<br />
no leaks at the water heater.<br />
