8.2.18. Bypass Mixing Valve<br />
(“Non-A” Series)<br />
1. Turn off the gas supply.<br />
2. Turn off the 120V power supply.<br />
3. Turn off the water supply. Drain all wa-ter<br />
from the appliance.<br />
4. Disconnect the mixing valve wire housing<br />
from the PCB.<br />
6. Remove the 2 stainless clips. (fastener “D”)<br />
8. Remove the Mixing valve from the primary<br />
H/E inlet adapter.<br />

7. Remove the mixing valve outlet pipe.<br />
9. Pull out the mixing valve.<br />
10. Replace with new mixing valve.<br />
11. Replace the mixing valve into the primary<br />
H/E inlet adapter.<br />
12. Replace the mixing valve outlet pipe into<br />
the mixing valve.<br />
13. Replace the 2 stainless clips.<br />
14. Replace the PCB.<br />
16. Install front panel using 4(four) screws.<br />
17. Turn on water supply, power supply, and<br />
gas supply.<br />
18. Open a hot water tap and ensure there are<br />
no leaks at the water heater.<br />
