Autor filma je, ne samo za hrvatske,<br />
već i za svjetske standarde,<br />
realizirao beskompromisnu priču<br />
u kojoj ljubav dvojice mladića<br />
unutar trokuta koji čini i djevojka,<br />
nije samo naznaka nego i vrlo<br />
konkretno izražavanje emocija i<br />
strasti. Njih uobličuje elegantna<br />
crno-bijela fotografija i elegična<br />
klavirska pratnja, a remeti poneki<br />
kliše i odugovlačenje.<br />

Croatian but also by international<br />
standards, about the love between<br />
two young men in a love triangle<br />
with a girl. This love is not only<br />
hinted at, there is a very real expression<br />
of emotions and passions<br />
which are framed by elegant black<br />
and white cinematography and<br />
elegiac piano music, only disrupted<br />
by an occasional cliché and at<br />
times some slow pace.<br />

osobito kada djevojka postane<br />
smetnja odnosu dvaju prijetelja.<br />
Ova gay-drama ruši okorjele<br />
tabue, ali nije bez mana: previše<br />
patetizira i s emotivnim stanjima<br />
pripovjedača i sa sadržajem sjećanja,<br />
a svršetak je nemaštovit.<br />
› Love triangles are narratively<br />
stimulating but also very challenging<br />
topics, especially when a<br />
girl stands in the way of love between<br />
two friends. This gay-drama<br />
subverts enrooted taboos, but it is<br />
not without a flaw: too much melodrama<br />
in the emotional states of<br />
the narrators and their memories,<br />
and the ending is unimaginative.<br />

Težak, težak film. Mjestimično i<br />
predug, suvišno okrutan... Izvrstan<br />
snimatelj, izvrstan glumac,<br />
majstorsko svjetlo, ali... istu stvar<br />
smo vidjeli nekoliko puta previše<br />
i to mi je zasmetalo. Ovo je film<br />
koji je vrlo osjetljiv i ne smije razbijati<br />
pažnju gledatelja.<br />

times and overly cruel... Excellent<br />
cinematography, acting, masterful<br />
lighting, but... We see the<br />
same thing a few times too many,<br />
which is a problem... Since this is<br />
a delicate topic, the film shouldn’t<br />
