6 Troubleshooting the Mercury Analyzer This chapter explains how to troubleshoot mercury analyzer problems. If you cannot solve a problem using the steps given in this chapter, you should contact CETAC Technologies Customer Service and Support. Troubleshooting Communication Issues If the QuickTrace cannot connect to the analyzer: Step 1: Check the Cable Check that the PC is connected directly to the M-7600 with a standard Ethernet cable. To eliminate the possibility of an IP address conflict with another device on the company network, disconnect the PC from the company network while troubleshooting.
