Students may not change out of the Leadership Prep Bedford Stuyvesant uniform at any point during
the school day. Students must wear the Leadership Prep Bedford Stuyvesant uniform on all school
field lessons.
Uniform Requirements:
For Boys:
• Shirt: Light blue long or short-sleeved Oxford style dress shirt or polo shirt with no logo(no
lettering, no emblems or logos, no denim, or no band collars)
• Pants: Navy blue dress pants (no jeans, no shorts, no side-pockets, no side loops, no designer
labels, no extra zippers, no overalls)
• Belt: Solid brown or black belt
• Sneakers: Solid black, low top sneakers without any embellishments of any kind (no boots, no
sandals, no moccasins, no clogs, no bowling shoes, no shoes with stripes, no multi-colored or
two-toned shoes)
• Optional:
o Sweater: Burgundy V-neck cardigan sweater (no fleeces, no sweatshirts; dress shirt
must be worn under sweater)
o Undershirt: White undershirt
For Girls:
• Jumper: Navy blue jumper or navy blue knee-length skirt (no denim, no canvas, no skorts)
• Shirt: Light blue long or short-sleeved blouse with peter pan collar or polo shirt with no logo
(no lettering, no emblems or logos, no denim, or no band collars)
• Pants: Navy blue dress pants (no jeans, no shorts, no side-pockets, no side loops, no designer
labels, no extra zippers, no bell or slit bottoms, no overalls)
• Belt: Solid brown or black belt (mandatory with pants)
• Sneakers: Solid black, low top sneakers without any embellishments of any kind (no open toe
shoes, no boots, no sandals, no moccasins, no clogs, no bowling shoes, no shoes with stripes, no
multi-colored or two-toned shoes)
• Socks: plain, white ankle socks (no patterned or distracting socks)
• Optional:
o Sweater: Burgundy V-neck cardigan sweater (no fleeces, no sweatshirts; blue blouse
must be worn underneath sweater)
o Undershirt: White undershirt
o Tights: White or Navy blue tights (plain with no pattern)
All Students:
• LEADERSHIP PREP BEDFORD STUYVESANT LOGO PATCH: patches must be
visible on all dress shirts, blouses, jumpers, and sweaters at all times. LPCS patches should be
sewn on the front of dress shirts, blouses, jumpers, and sweaters in the upper left chest area.
