4.3 Priority Junctions<br />

4.3*1 Introduction<br />

4.3.1.1 Junctions which are controlled by stop or give way signs and/or<br />

markings are both the simplest and most numerous in the<br />

Territory, Priority control is most appropriately used at<br />

junctions where it is desirable to give continual priority to<br />

one route. The main advantage of this form of control is that<br />

little or no delay is experienced by the through traffic on the<br />

major route.
