1. Diagrams depict typical layouts utilising various<br />

combinations of geometric elements. However not<br />

ait combinations have been exhausted and elements<br />

may be extracted from compatible diagrams to<br />

form a new composite layout.<br />

2. Layouts have been designed to cater for a 16m<br />

articulated vehicle unless otherwise stated. Design<br />

based on a less onerous design vehicle may be<br />

justified and geometric elements reduced<br />

accordingly,<br />

3. Depending on pedestrian volumes, layouts may<br />

need amendment to accomodate at grade pedestrian<br />

crossings.<br />
