be no thicker than 1 – 3 μm. For preparati<strong>on</strong> of this structure the c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> of SWNT<br />

material pro unit area of the electrode would be no more than ~ 0.5 mg/cm 2 . Even if the high<br />

purity SWNTs produced by the arc technology (at the price of ~ 100 $/g) are used, the price<br />

of the catalytic and intermediate layers would be ~ 0,05 $/см 2 . For comparis<strong>on</strong>, the carb<strong>on</strong><br />

paper produced by Ballard Co., USA, is widely used as the gas diffusi<strong>on</strong> layer, and provides<br />

the same c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong> to the cost of the layer ~ 0,05 $/cm 2 .<br />
