Glass / Glass lined Pilot Plants – Large Process Equipment<br />

Büchi AG was founded as glass blowing company. The unique «büchiflex» flexible<br />
glass c<strong>on</strong>necti<strong>on</strong> and excepti<strong>on</strong>al materials, are the key to our success <strong>for</strong> reliable<br />
glass Pilot Plant and also large Process Equipment. It offers excellent vacuum<br />
tightness and operator safety as well as fast and simple installati<strong>on</strong>.<br />
Our Glass Pilot product range starts with the mini-pilot 5 (5 liter glass reactors) a<br />
completely glass reactor and ends with our «chemreactor 252» (250 liters glass/glass<br />
lined steel reactor). For the larger ranges, we offer Process Equipment such as<br />
complete glass overheads <strong>for</strong> big glass lined mixing vessels.<br />
Typical applicati<strong>on</strong> <strong>for</strong> our Mini Pilot and Pilot Plant series are:<br />
• (full vacuum) Distillati<strong>on</strong><br />
• Azeotropic distillati<strong>on</strong><br />

• -60 to + 200°C (-190 to +250°C)<br />
• Full vacuum to 0.5 bar over pressure (Glass/Glass lined reactor)<br />
• Full vacuum to 10 bar overpressure (with pressure reactor in glass lined<br />
