Conclusion
The results of both static and dynamic sorption measurements in the studied bimodal
micropore carbon system can be correlated. Changes in the ratio of two parallel micropore
diffusion processes with different time constants distinguished in the FR rate spectra indicate
the effect of the loading in the smaller or the larger micropores being not interconnected. An
increase of Pt content above 1 % does not influence the propane mobilities in the Pt-loaded
activated carbon and also the catalytic activities in cyclohexane dehyrogenation to benzene. It
can be concluded that platinum clusters prefer to be located in the narrowest micropores.
