PP-<str<strong>on</strong>g>II</str<strong>on</strong>g>-24<br />

Carb<strong>on</strong> hemosorbent VN<str<strong>on</strong>g>II</str<strong>on</strong>g>TU-1 is applied <strong>for</strong> toxic substances eliminati<strong>on</strong> from blood<br />

current at treatment of various diseases. Distinctive features of hemosorbent are the following<br />

<strong>on</strong>es:<br />

• high chemical purity (carb<strong>on</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tent is not less than 99,5 %);<br />

• low c<strong>on</strong>tent of ashes is not more than 0,15 %;<br />

• high mechanical strength of the granules and their spherical <strong>for</strong>m;<br />

• practically full absence of dust <strong>on</strong> surface and in pores, that gives to the sorbent<br />

increased blood compatibility, provide good hydrodynamic of blood clearing process,<br />

and inertness in relati<strong>on</strong> to <strong>for</strong>mal blood elements.<br />

The product was awarded with Golden medal at the First <str<strong>on</strong>g>Internati<strong>on</strong>al</str<strong>on</strong>g> Innovati<strong>on</strong> and<br />

Investment Sal<strong>on</strong> (Moscow, 2001).<br />

Carb<strong>on</strong> enterosorbent VN<str<strong>on</strong>g>II</str<strong>on</strong>g>TU-2 is used <strong>for</strong> detoxicati<strong>on</strong> of patients with the<br />

accumulati<strong>on</strong> of toxic substances in the organism.<br />

Enterosorbent surpasses other sorbents in a number of different unique properties such as:<br />

• high chemical purity (it includes of 99.5 % carb<strong>on</strong> that is inert to a digestive mucous<br />

membrane);<br />

• low c<strong>on</strong>tent of mineral admixture (ashes);<br />

• high mechanical strength of granules;<br />

• absence of dust;<br />

• practically neutral reacti<strong>on</strong> of surface-active groups;<br />

• high sorptive capacity <strong>for</strong> toxins of low and medium molecular weight;<br />

• insolubility in biological liquids;<br />

• complete removing from an organism;<br />

• simplicity of applicati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

The clinical tests of the sorbent were carried out in leading medical centers of Russia.<br />

The test results have c<strong>on</strong>firmed a high efficiency of medical sorbents applicati<strong>on</strong> at treatment<br />

of various diseases c<strong>on</strong>nected to accumulati<strong>on</strong> of low and medium molecular weight toxins in<br />

patient organism.<br />

Carb<strong>on</strong> sorbents are successfully applied in medical instituti<strong>on</strong>s of Russia.<br />
