4.5 DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE (DSP) OPERATION<br />

4.5.1 PURPOSE<br />

The DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE (DSP) operation allows UM to delete a <strong>Service</strong><br />

Package at a CM.<br />

4.5.2 PROCEDURE<br />

The procedure for the DSP operation is a two-phase operation procedure, which follows the<br />

two-phase operation procedure pattern specified in 3.1.<br />

The DSP operation involves the exchange of the following messages:<br />

– Delete<strong>Service</strong>PackageInvocation (DSP-I);<br />

– Delete<strong>Service</strong>PackageSuccessfulReturn (DSP-SR);<br />

– Delete<strong>Service</strong>PackageFailedReturn (DSP-FR).<br />

The sequence and activity diagrams for the DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE operation are<br />

the two-phase operation procedure pattern sequence and activity diagrams specified in 3.1,<br />

with the argument lists:<br />

4.5.3.1 UM Requirements for the DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE Operation<br />

UM shall conform to all Invoker Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures as<br />

specified in 3.4.1.6.1.<br />

UM shall conform to all DSP-I Data Set Composition and Relationship Requirements when<br />

creating and transmitting an DSP-I as specified in table 4-52.<br />
