4.5 DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE (DSP) OPERATION
4.5.1 PURPOSE
The DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE (DSP) operation allows UM to delete a Service
Package at a CM.
4.5.2 PROCEDURE
The procedure for the DSP operation is a two-phase operation procedure, which follows the
two-phase operation procedure pattern specified in 3.1.
The DSP operation involves the exchange of the following messages:
– DeleteServicePackageInvocation (DSP-I);
– DeleteServicePackageSuccessfulReturn (DSP-SR);
– DeleteServicePackageFailedReturn (DSP-FR).
The sequence and activity diagrams for the DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE operation are
the two-phase operation procedure pattern sequence and activity diagrams specified in 3.1,
with the argument lists:

4.5.3.1 UM Requirements for the DELETE_SERVICE_PACKAGE Operation

UM shall conform to all Invoker Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures as
specified in 3.4.1.6.1.
UM shall conform to all DSP-I Data Set Composition and Relationship Requirements when
creating and transmitting an DSP-I as specified in table 4-52.
