4.10 QUERY_SERVICE_PACKAGE (QSP) OPERATION
4.10.1 PURPOSE
The QUERY_SERVICE_PACKAGE (QSP) operation allows UM to query the content of an
existing Service Package at the CM.
4.10.2 PROCEDURE
The procedure for the QSP operation is a two-phase operation procedure, which follows the
two-phase operation procedure pattern specified in 3.1.
The QSP operation involves the exchange of the following messages:
– QueryServicePackageInvocation (QSP-I);
– QueryServicePackageSuccessfulReturn (QSP-SR);
– QueryServicePackageFailedReturn (QSP-FR).
The sequence and activity diagrams for the QUERY_SERVICE_PACKAGE operation are the
two-phase operation procedure pattern sequence and activity diagrams specified in 3.1, with
the argument lists:
