DRAFT RECOMMENDED STANDARD FOR SPACE LINK EXTENSION SERVICE MANAGEMENT
QSAD-32 The valid values for parameter pcmWaveformOptions shall be restricted to ‘NRZ-L’ and ‘NRZ-M’ if
subcarrier is used for this space link carrier, i.e., if a F401SubcarrierAgreement or
R401SubcarrierAgreement data set is contained by the
F401SpaceLinkCarrierAgreement or R401SpaceLinkCarrierAgreement data set,
respectively, to which the parameter pcmWaveformOptions belongs.

QSAD-33 In a R401SpaceLinkCarrierAgreement data set, the valid values for parameter
modulationTypeOptions shall be restricted to only ‘BPSK’ if the value of parameter
carrierUse is ‘remnant’.

QSAD-34 In a RafProdAgreement data set, the parameter interleaveOptions is valid only if the set
fecOptions contains values ‘reedSolomon’ and/or ‘reedSolomonAndCrc’.
Conversely, the valid values for parameter fecOptions shall be restricted to only ‘crc’, if parameter
interleaveOptions is an empty set.

7.3.6 QueryServiceAgreementFailedReturn (QSA-FR) MESSAGE (CM UM)
7.3.6.1 General
The QueryServiceAgreementFailedReturn (QSA-FR) message conforms to the
data set composition and relationship requirements for, and inherits the parameters of, the
stereotype, as specified in 3.3.4.3.3.3.2. The QsaError dataset of
the QSA-FR message conforms to and inherits the parameters of the data set
stereotype, which contains a diagnostic parameter of the
stereotype.
Figure 7-4 shows the message structure of the QSA-FR as a class diagram. Note that most
possible errors in the QSA-I message are intercepted by the SLE-SM document exchange
protocol and reported in the UnrecognizedMessageSetResponse message (see
3.3.4.4).
