CM shall validate that the <strong>Service</strong> Package referenced by the servicePackageRef<br />

parameter of the DSP-I:<br />

a) has been acknowledged;<br />

b) has not been deleted; and<br />

c) has not been cancelled.<br />

If the DSP-I is valid, CM shall<br />

a) if the referenced <strong>Service</strong> Package has already been scheduled:<br />

1) remove the <strong>Service</strong> Package from its operational schedule;<br />

2) remove the <strong>Service</strong> Package as counting against the following parameters of the<br />

<strong>Service</strong> Agreement:<br />

i) maxSls<strong>Service</strong>Packages (for SLS <strong>Service</strong> Packages);<br />

ii) maxSls<strong>Service</strong>PackagesPerTimePeriod (for SLS <strong>Service</strong> Packages);<br />

iii) maxRtrvl<strong>Service</strong>Packages (for Retrieval <strong>Service</strong> Packages); and<br />

iv) maxRtrvl<strong>Service</strong>PackagesPerTimePeriod (for Retrieval <strong>Service</strong><br />

Packages).<br />

b) return a DSP-SR message.<br />

NOTE – If the performance of the CSP operation to create (or a RSP operation to replace) the<br />

referenced <strong>Service</strong> Package has been acknowledged but the <strong>Service</strong> Package has not<br />

yet been scheduled, CM will also fail the CSP/RSP operation and return a CSP-SR<br />

(see CSPC-22, table 4-3)<br />

CM shall set the value of the servicePackageRef parameter of the DSP-SR or DSP-FR<br />

to the value of the servicePackageId parameter of the corresponding DSP-I.<br />

CM shall conform to all DSP-SR and DSP-FR Data Set Composition and Relationship<br />

Requirements when creating and transmitting a DSP-SR or DSP-FR as specified in table 4-53<br />

and table 4-56, respectively.<br />

4.5.4 Delete<strong>Service</strong>PackageInvocation (DSP-I) MESSAGE (UM CM)<br />

4.5.4.1 General<br />

The Delete<strong>Service</strong>PackageInvocation message conforms to the data set<br />

composition and relationship requirements for, and inherits the parameters of, the<br />

stereotype as specified in 3.3.4.3.2. Figure 4-15 shows the message<br />

structure of the DSP-I as class diagrams.<br />
