DRAFT RECOMMENDED STANDARD FOR SPACE LINK EXTENSION SERVICE MANAGEMENT
ANTC-5
ANTC-6
ANTC-7
ANTC-8
If the SLE Complex has locally defined ANT-I requirements in addition to those specified in this
Recommended Standard that could cause a ANT-I to be denied, CM shall validate that the ANT-I
conforms to all such local requirements.
[service management validation]
CM shall validate that the sleSmCreatorName associated with the ANT-I is the same as the
sleSmCreatorName of the Service Package associated with the servicePackageId referenced
by the servicePackageRef in the ANT-I.
[service management validation]
CM shall validate that the new Trajectory Prediction start and stop times are consistent with all
affected Service Scenarios in the Service Package. If any of the affected Service Scenarios are not
consistent with the new Trajectory Prediction start and stop times, CM shall reject the ANT-I and
respond to UM with a ANT-FR.
NOTES:
1 The affected Service Scenarios are defined as those that have a trajectoryRef parameter
that matches the existingTrajectoryRef parameter of the ANT-I (for the Service
Package identified by the servicePackageRef parameter of the ANT-I).
2 Consistency of trajectory start (T1) and stop time (T2) is determined by comparing against the
scheduledSpaceLinkSessionStartTime (S1) and scheduledSpaceLinkSessionStopTime (S2)
parameters of the affected Service Scenario and validating that T1 = S2
3 In addition to checking the consistency of the new trajectory start and stop times, CM may
perform additional validation if further CM-internal conditions need to be met (such as
internal cable limitations for antenna pointing, Doppler dynamic limitations, etc.).
[service management validation]
CM shall validate that the required resources are available to fulfill the Service Package with the new
Trajectory Prediction data. If the required resources are not available, CM shall cease processing the
ANT-I and respond to UM with a ANT-FR message containing a AntDenial data set.
[service management validation]
ANTC-9 If CM is unable to validate and perform the ANT operation prior to expiration of
minServiceDefinitionLeadTime, CM may terminate the operation and issue an ANT-FR.
[service management validation]
ANTC-9A CM shall validate that the scheduledServicePackageStopTime for the referenced Service
Package has not already passed.
[service management validation]
ANTC-9B CM shall validate that the Service Package referenced by the servicePackageRef parameter of
the ANT-I:
a) has been established;
b) has not been deleted; and
c) has not been cancelled.
[service management validation]
ANTC-10 If the ANT-I is valid, CM shall update all affected Service Scenarios in the Service Package to
reference the new Trajectory Prediction and send an ANT-SR message to UM.
[Perform operation]
ANTC-11 CM shall conform to all ANT-SR, ANT-FR and ANT-AR Data Set Composition and Relationship
Requirements when creating and transmitting a ANT-SR, ANT-FR and ANT-AR, as specified in
table 4-69, table 4-70, and table 4-71, respectively.
