DRAFT RECOMMENDED STANDARD FOR SPACE LINK EXTENSION SERVICE MANAGEMENT 5.5 QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE OPERATION 5.5.1 PURPOSE The QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE (QSLSP) operation is used by UM to request a copy of previously installed Space Link Session Profile resident at CM for a given Service Agreement. 5.5.2 PROCEDURE The procedure for the QSLSP operation is a two-phase operation procedure, which follows the two-phase operation procedure pattern specified in 3.1. The QSLSP operation involves the exchange of QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_- PROFILE messages. The QSLSP messages are: QuerySpaceLinkSessionProfileInvocation (QSLSP-I), QuerySpaceLinkSessionProfileSuccessfulReturn (QSLSP-SR), and QuerySpaceLinkSessionProfileFailedReturn (QSLSP-FR). The message sequence diagram for the QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE operation conforms to the stereotyped sequence diagram for the two-phase operation procedure pattern defined in 3.4.1.3, with the following argument list: twoPhaseOperationProcedurePatternSequence {UM, CM, QSLSP-I, QSLSP-SR, QSLSP-FR} The activity diagram for the QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE operation conforms to the stereotyped activity diagram for the two-phase operation procedure pattern defined in 3.4.1.4, with the following argument list: twoPhaseOperationProcedurePatternActivity {UM, CM, QSLSP-I, QSLSP-SR, QSLSP-FR, qslspRoutineTimeout, qslspUrgentTimeout} CCSDS 910.11-R-2 Page 5-39 March 2008
DRAFT RECOMMENDED STANDARD FOR SPACE LINK EXTENSION SERVICE MANAGEMENT 5.5.3 REQUIREMENTS 5.5.3.1 UM Requirements for the QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE Operation Table 5-39: UM Requirements for the QSLSP Operation QSLSPU-01 UM shall conform to all Invoker Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures as specified in 3.4.1.6.1. QSLSPU-02 UM shall conform to all QSLSP-I Data Set Composition and Relationship Requirements when creating and transmitting an QSLSP-I as specified in table 5-41. QSLSPU-03 UM should send QSLSP-I messages that are valid with respect to all service management validation requirements for CM as defined in table 5-41. QSLSPU-04 UM shall validate that a received QSLSP-SR or QSLSP-FR conforms to all QSLSP-SR or QSLSP-FR syntactic validation requirements specified in table 5-42 or table 5-44, respectively. If the return fails any of the syntactic validation requirements, UM shall process the message set containing the syntactically invalid return in accordance with the Invoker Requirements for Two- Phase Operation Procedures. QSLSPU-05 UM shall validate that a received QSLSP-SR or QSLSP-FR conforms to all QSLSP-SR or QSLSP-FR service management validation requirements specified in table 5-42 or table 5-44, respectively. If the return fails any of the service management validation requirements, UM shall process the service management-invalid return in accordance with the Invoker Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures. 5.5.3.2 CM Requirements for the QUERY_SPACE_LINK_SESSION_PROFILE Operation Table 5-40: CM Requirements for the QSLSP Operation QSLSPC-01 CM shall conform to all Performer Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures as specified in 3.4.1.6.2. QSLSPC-02 CM shall validate that a received QSLSP-I conforms to all QSLSP-I syntactic validation requirements specified in table 5-41, Data Set Composition and Relationship Requirements for the QSLSP-I. If the QSLSP-I fails any of the syntactic requirements, CM shall process the message set containing the syntactically invalid return in accordance with the Performer Requirements for Two-Phase Operation Procedures. QSLSPC-03 CM shall validate that the QSLSP-I conforms to all QSLSP-I service management validation requirements specified in this table and table 5-41, Data Set Composition and Relationship Requirements. If the QSLSP-I fails any of the service management requirements, CM shall cease processing the QSLSP-I and respond to UM with an QSLSP-FR message. The content of the QSLSP-FR depends on the nature of the validation failure, and is specified in table 5-43. QSLSPC-04 CM shall validate that the spaceLinkSessionProfileRef matches the spaceLinkSessionProfileId for a Space Link Session Profile within the context of the referenced Service Agreement.
