Using the FH-869GR Glass-Covered Rotating Holder for Brownie Film
The FH-869GR is used when scanning medium-format (120/220) film, 59 mm × 82 mm film for
electron microscopes, or 24 × 65 panorama film. Film can be adjusted by ±5° to compensate
for camera angle. Multi-frame strips can be scanned one frame at a time without cutting the
film into strips one frame long.
Slide the knob in the direction shown below and open the upper cover.
Place a masking sheet appropriate to the size of film to be scanned in the holder, aligning the
holes in the masking sheet with the guide pins in the holder. Place the film between the guide
rails, with the matte emulsion surface down (shiny side up). Align the frame to be scanned
with the aperture in the masking sheet. Close the upper cover so that the latch clicks into
place.
