Floyd County, IndianaFloyd County Thoroughfare PlanSection 2–Needs Identification2.05 FUTURE NO-BUILD MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATION ANALYSISThe future no-build operational analysis utilized the land use and traffic forecasting data fromKIPDA to determine 2030 traffic volumes. These 2030 traffic volumes were then applied to thecurrent roadway network, with planned Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and KIPDAimprovements, to determine where the current roadway network will require additionalimprovements not in current plans. The additional volumes using the developments will be used inanalyzing the alternatives for improvements to the roadway network.
