But achieving substantiveequality in health also requires improvements inthe quality of services as well as broader attitudinaland institutional change to address stereotyping,stigma and violence head-on. The sectiontherefore goes on to examines how the deliveryof health care can be transformed to enable allwomen and girls’ to have access to services, toaddress their specific health needs and to givethem greater voice in the health system.
