DOMINICALEGISLATIONTurtle Ordinance, 24 November 1972.It is prohibited to catch or take turtles or their eggs between 1 Juneand 30 September inclusive. The capture or talcing of turtles under20 lb (9 kg) is prohibited. It is prohibited to buy, sell or expose forsale, or have in possession, turtle flesh or eggs between 1 June and30 September inclusive. Permits may be granted for the collection ofwildlife for scientific or educational purposes. It is illegal todisturb any turtle nest or eggs, or to take or attempt to take, anyturtle laying eggs or on the shore engaged in nesting activities.163
