Access <strong>for</strong> Work on or Near High Voltage ElectricalApparatusResponsible at the Remote Location.A Complementary Sanction <strong>for</strong> Testing shall only beissued after, and relinquished be<strong>for</strong>e, the sanction<strong>for</strong> testing at the nominated main location. Suchissues and cancellations shall take place only withthe approval <strong>of</strong> the tester in charge.9.3.1.5 A sanction <strong>for</strong> testing and ComplementarySanction <strong>for</strong> Testing shall be issued and cancelledonly by an authorised <strong>electrical</strong> operator.9.3.1.6 The appropriate provisions <strong>of</strong> Clauses 7, 8,and 9 shall also apply to sanctions <strong>for</strong> testing andComplementary Sanctions <strong>for</strong> Testing.9.3.1.7 A sanction <strong>for</strong> testing or a ComplementarySanction <strong>for</strong> Testing may be issued or relinquishedby telephone or radio, subject to the statementsbetween the authorised <strong>electrical</strong> operator and thetester-in-charge or Tester Responsible at RemoteLocation, as appropriate, being confirmed by awitness at each end.9.3.1.8 In the case <strong>of</strong> a sanction <strong>for</strong> testing or aComplementary Sanction <strong>for</strong> Testing issued bytelephone or radio, the Tester-in-Charge or theTester Responsible at Remote Location, asappropriate, shall assume the responsibilities <strong>of</strong> theauthorised <strong>electrical</strong> operator in applying theseprovisions.Blue Book – December 2005 Page 89 <strong>of</strong> 148
