Programming the Service Request EnableRegister allows you to control which conditions will generatean SRQ (see Section 5).REM — Turns on to indicate that the Model 7002 is in remotewhen used over the IEEE-488 bus. The Model 7002 canbe placed in remote by addressing it to listen with the busREN line true.TALK — Turns on to indicate that the Model 7002 is the activetalker on the IEEE-488 bus. The unit can be placed in thetalker active state by sending it the correct bus talk command, which is derived from the primary address.LSTN — Turns on when the unit is an active IEEE-488 buslistener. The Model 7002 can be placed in the active listenerstate by addressing it to listen.ARM — Turns on when the Model 7002 is taken out of theidle state. A scan can only be performed with the Model 7002out of the idle state.4.3.2 LED displayThe LED display (see Figure 4-2) is primarily made up of 10arrays of light emitting diodes (LEDs). Each 40 LED arraycorresponds to a mainframe slot. The significance of thesechannel LEDs depends on which display mode is currentlyselected; (relay status display mode or a list display mode),and whether or not the LED Graticule is enabled (see paragraph4.6).There is also a column of 16 LEDs located to the right of thechannel LEDs. Two of these LEDs, SCAN LIST and SHOWLIST, indicate display mode status.Note that all of the front panel LEDs can function as controlswitches with the addition of the light pen option (see paragraph4.5 for details). The five annunciators along the top of the display indicatethe following conditions:4-4
