Performing Data AcquisitionTaking a Reading - Numeric ScreenThis method assumes that:• you have selected the NUMERIC Measurementmode in the OPTIONS SCREEN• you have just leveled your instrument, are in theSTATION DESIGNATION screen and havedesignated station and line information.PRESSF5Press the F5 key or the MEASURE key.The following screen is displayed:The running average of the uncorrected gravityreading is displayed in large numerals at the centreof the display. The previous five final gravityreadings are displayed in the table at the top of thedisplay.The system continues to measure until the read timeis elapsed. Note that if the instrument is inauto-repeat or base station mode it will keep readinguntil the last cycle is completed (or the F5 key is pushed). The Read Time, Cycle Time andNumber of Cycles are set through the OPTIONSscreen.
