Setting Up Your InstrumentAccessing the Setup ScreenThe SETUP screen is one of the key screens in the system. It provides accessto five menus, each with its own submenus for configuring your CG-5.To access the SETUP screen:PRESSSETUP4ABCPress the SETUP key. Using the Survey ScreenUsing the Survey ScreenThe Survey setup screen enables you to create the survey header included inthe data file. This includes the:• Survey identifier• Name of the client• Name of the operator• Grid reference point• Station designation systemSpecifying Header and Station DesignationInformationThe survey identifier and station designation system are required.
