Operating the CG-5 in the FieldNote:The default name of your file follows the followingformat: time (24 HRS) minutes month date year. TheCG-5 will dump in Scintrex Geophysical Databaseformat. This format is compatible with all moderngravity programs.Click on the Open button. You will then notice the“ON-LINE” message appears and that the data isbeing transferred and a bar graph shows the progressof the transfer process. After the data is successfullytransferred, a message indicating successful datatransfer will appear in the lower left-hand portion ofyour CG-5 screen.Once the data is successfully transferred, a messageindicating successful upload of your data willappear. Click on OK to close your data file.To finalize the dump procedure click on the convertbutton as described in the RS232 dumpingprocedure, on page 3-50.PRESSF5Once you have transferred your data to your PC,press the F5 key on your CG-5 to return tothe previous screen.3-56CG-5 Manual - part # 867700 Revision 2
