Initializing Instrument ParametersUnderstanding Instrument BasicsTo prepare the instrument for field work, you must first initialize instrumentand survey parameters. Some parameters, such as Autograv parameters(including tide corrections and instrument related parameters such as sensortilts), may need to be set up only once. Others, such as Survey parameters,may require adjustment before each field survey. For more information,please see Chapter 2, “Setting Up Your Instrument.”Checking Drift CorrectionsWe recommend that you check the instrument drift before using it initiallyand on an occasional basis to obtain best survey results.
