Setting Up Your InstrumentUsing the Memory ScreenThe CG-5 is equipped with 12 mbytes of FLASH memory. The currentavailable memory can be displayed or the memory can be cleared followingdata dumping to enable additional data to be recorded.Working with the MemoryAt the start of each day ensure that there is adequate storage space for theday’s data. If there is insufficient memory available, then erase the memory.Erasing the memory does not erase initialization, setup or positionparameters. However, all the recorded measurements in the memory will belost. Please ensure that you have transferred the data to your computer orprinted them out.Accessing the Memory OptionTo access this option:Press the arrow keys in the SETUP screen tonavigate to the MEMORY icon to highlight the itemas follows:.Memory2-28CG-5 Manual - part # 867700 Revision 2
Using the Memory ScreenPRESSF5Press the F5 key. The followingscreen is displayed:SetupExiting without Clearing MemoryPRESSPRESSF5F1If you want to simply check the memory withoutclearing it, press the F5 key.
