Siemens SQ255 Control Unit 1.4 Construction The control unit is designed as a compact unit (see Figure 2). All parts like SIMATIC S7 (optional: Allan Bradley PLC), Relays, Fuses, push buttons, OP3 are accommodated so that they are protected from dust, splashing water and from mechanical damage. Buttons for starting and stopping the purging period (Item 2) are located inside the cabinet. SQ255 Control Unit 1.5 Mode of operation The PLC programmable logic controller are designed to control the complete <strong>FLK</strong> probe, to retract the probe in automatic cycle or in case of any fault, to start the purge cycle and to indicate fault messages at OP3. At the OP3 you can adjust timer and counter to control the probe.
