4. At the Model Year(s) screen (Figure VIIC-16), highlight the appropriate year, then select Enter.<br />
5. At the Vehicle Type(s) screen (Figure VIIC-17), highlight the vehicle type, then select Enter.<br />
6. At the Vehicle Identification screen (Figure VIIC-18), highlight the vehicle type, then select Enter.<br />
Note: Some vehicle builds may have additional option screens.<br />
7. Figure VIIC-19 shows a <strong>Tech</strong> 2 procedure screen. Follow the on-screen instructions. Failure to do this<br />
may result in programming errors. After following on-screen instructions, press the Continue softkey.<br />
8. The Existing ECU Data screen (Figure VIIC-20) displays a VIN and software calibration number(s). It<br />
also asks if the VIN is correct. Select either Yes or No using the <strong>Tech</strong> 2 keys. In this example, Yes is<br />
selected.<br />
Note: If No is selected, follow all on-screen instructions. After going to the PC, continue with step 10.<br />
9. Figure VIIC-21 shows another <strong>Tech</strong> 2 Existing ECU Data information screen. Follow the on-screen<br />
instructions: Turn off the ignition. Disconnect the <strong>Tech</strong> 2 from the vehicle and connect it to the PC.<br />
