10. After downloading information from the PC to the <strong>Tech</strong> 2, return to the vehicle. At the <strong>Tech</strong> 2 title<br />
screen, select Enter. To execute the SPS application, press F1 on the <strong>Tech</strong> 2 keypad or highlight<br />
Service Programming System on the Main Menu screen (Figure VIIC-13), then press Enter. Select F1<br />
or highlight Program ECU, then select Enter (Figure VIIC-22).<br />
11. The New Programming Data screen that appears next (Figure VIIC-23) contains VIN and software<br />
calibration numbers. Verify that the VIN is correct, then press the Continue softkey.<br />
12. At the next <strong>Tech</strong> 2 SPS screen (Figure VIIC-19), follow the on-screen instructions: Turn off all power<br />
consuming devices. Turn the ignition on with the engine off. Make sure the battery is fully charged.<br />
Then press the Continue softkey.<br />
13. “Please wait,” may briefly appear as programming begins. A percentage bar will track the progress of<br />
the download (Figure VIIC-24).<br />
14. When programming is <strong>com</strong>plete, the Programming Was Successful screen appears (Figure VIIC-25).<br />
Turn off the ignition and press the Continue softkey.<br />
NOTE: Error screens you may encounter are shown in figures VIIC-26 and VIIC-27.<br />
