prayer entirely; it merely points out that <strong>the</strong>se practices are mere tools that you can use to<br />

move towards a life of awakened service, not a destinations of “enlightenment” in & of<br />

<strong>the</strong>mselves.<br />

*It is beneficial to open up to ano<strong>the</strong>r about personal concerns (like in psychoanalysis) —<br />

I am merely pointing out that <strong>the</strong> “awakening” that comes in those sessions will not bear<br />

<strong>the</strong> fruit of real Joy until you go forth and live it with o<strong>the</strong>rs.<br />

*It is beneficial to sit still and reawaken to a deeper inner Calm (like in meditation) — I<br />

am merely pointing out that <strong>the</strong> “inner peace” that comes in those sessions will not bear<br />

you <strong>the</strong> fruit of real Joy until you go forth and live it with o<strong>the</strong>rs.<br />

*It is beneficial to connect with a personal vision of <strong>the</strong> Divine (like in prayer) — I am<br />

merely pointing out that <strong>the</strong> sense of “connection” that comes in those moments will not<br />

bear you <strong>the</strong> fruit of real Joy until you go forth and live it with o<strong>the</strong>rs.<br />

This “express lane” to <strong>the</strong> summit of Enlightenment takes <strong>the</strong> mind’s “middle man” right<br />

out of <strong>the</strong> equation. Instead of taking years to master your meditation, months to expose<br />

your ego or weeks to perfect your prayer, it is possible to skip all that struggle & strife<br />

and live real, deep-seated Contentment in every moment of your life instead — starting<br />

with this moment right NOW.<br />

And even though it is indeed a somewhat frightening choice to make, doing so is also<br />

quite simple …<br />

All you have to do is be Kind when you would ra<strong>the</strong>r look away.<br />

All you have to do is be Caring when you are tired or sad or in pain.<br />

All you have to do is be Forgiving when you are angry.<br />

All you have to do is be Loving towards o<strong>the</strong>rs when you are uncertain, nervous or afraid.<br />

This is what it means to put your thoughts in <strong>the</strong>ir proper place …<br />

This is what it means to put your Heart where your mind once was.<br />

This is what it means to put your life in order ...<br />

This is what it means to LOVE.<br />
